Black History Month at Three O’Clock Press

To celebrate Black History Month we’re spreading the words of our wonderfully talented black authors. These are authors who have published with Women’s Press, Sumach Press, and Kellom Books over the years, and we feel these works rank among the very best of their genres in Canada and the world.

d’bi young is poet-at-large these days, having toured the world in the past few months. With a recent performance in the Observatory Festival of the Arts in Cape Town, and a very highly reviewed performance at last year’s Summerworks festival in Toronto, we’re proud that she chose Women’s Press to publish her poetry: Art on Black and rivers…and other blackness…between us.

be sure to check them out!
