Dr. Yvonne Bobb-Smith is an Adjunct Lecturer at the College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago, teaching a Course, Caribbean Anthropology, and as an e-Tutor, with Open Campus, University of the West Indies, teaching Introduction to Sociology. Her book with Women’s Press, I Know Who I am: A Caribbean Woman’s Identity in Canada (2003), investigates the stories of forty-five Caribbean women of different backgrounds and heritages. Their narratives of resistance to sexism and racism are explained in their own context and related to through Bobb-Smith’s own experience.
